Positive Parent Action (PPA) - Coronavirus

Due to the current situation with Coronavirus, all our events have been postponed.
To keep families informed about the local situation, we will be adding information and resources to our website over the coming days and weeks.
Please support each other by sharing information with other parents and carers you know with children and young people with additional needs. We will still be able to communicate via email – so if you need to contact us please email us at:

Positive Parent Action (PPA) is an independent parents' forum which aims to improve provision for all disabled children and young people from 0-25 years old, living in the Borough of Wandsworth.
This voluntary group of parents and carers use their shared experience to help Wandsworth Council make informed decisions about how to spend the funds available and understand what local disabled children and young people and their families need.
PPA would like to hear from parents and carers. For instance:
- How would you like to see money spent in Wandsworth for Short Breaks?
- What are the most frustrating problems for you and your children?
- What services and support are good, and what would you like to see more of?
In addition, the forum has a really important role in Wandsworth's ongoing implementation of the Special Educational Needs and Disability Reforms, which came into force on 1st September 2014.
Some PPA members Co-chair the council's committees running various work streams. Some PPA members attend meetings, or take part in pilot schemes to test new ways of working. All PPA members have the chance to give their views in various ways.
Please email or write to them. PPA want to hear from you, whether it's a quick phone call or email sharing your views or a bit of spare time to help with some administrative jobs, they would love you to get involved.
