Aspire@Southfields is the umbrella under which Community services operate, including Adult Learning, Extended Services and Community Sport and Leisure provision. There are classes and courses for the public during the day, in the evenings and at weekends. Individuals and clubs can also book to use the sports facilities.
The Centre also has regular family learning courses - activities where parents and children can learn together.
Some of the Adult Learning courses on offer:
- art, design and crafts;
- complementary health workshops;
- skills for life: Maths and English
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL);
- leisure and sport;
- rock climbing;
- parenting courses;
- baby massage;
- First Aid;
- self-development courses;
- children's courses;
- trampolining; and
All courses need you to pay a fee. There are discounts available for members, people on benefits and people over the age of 60. To become a member or join a course, you can contact the centre in person, by telephone or by email.
