New advice service for EU residents

A new advice service has been set up for EU Nationals living in Wandsworth who are concerned about Brexit. The telephone, email and drop-in service is being provided by Citizens Advice Wandsworth on behalf of the council.

Contact this service if you are not sure what’s going to happen to you post-Brexit. You may be concerned about your status, especially if you live here with your family and have kids at school. You may want to know how you can secure your status after Brexit and secure permanent residency.

Citizens Advice Wandsworth is here to advise on issues like benefits, pensions and discrimination and through this dedicated EU advice service they will work to provide this advice in European languages.  They are also keen to hear from anyone with language skills who is willing to volunteer.

The service, lead by Kasia Zagrodniczek, is based at Citizens Advice Wandsworth in Battersea library. Get in touch with her by emailing euadviceservice@cawandsworth.org. You can also find out more at https://cawandsworth.org/advice-eu-citizens-wandsworth/

If you speak an EU language and would like to volunteer, please email volunteering@cawandsworth.org.  New volunteers will start their training in January.
